Offering an unusual Silver Jewel encrusted walking stick or cane handle. Hallmarked: very hard to make out but "800" plus what appears to be a rose and we can't make out the last hallmark. We use the Wiener Werkstatte in the title description because of the stylized roses used in the design. That design was first used by I believe by Koloman Moser. He worked closely with Josef Hoffmann and it is hard to sometime distinguish designs attributed to either. So . . . we have an 800 silver cane handle encrusted with hand set semi-precious jewels: lots of them. Amethysts, opals, turquoise, coral, baroque pearls, etc. Size: 4" long at the longest and 3" tall at the tallest. Fits very easily in the hand. Don't know if this was for a lady or a gentleman. From a private collection of item owned by a Hungarian Family of note. Price: $1,500.00.
# 5043. A fine late 19th century Czarist era Russian bracelet. Hall Marks for 14k gold{ numerals 56 with head}. Additional Hall Marks { L M }representing an undetermined workshop. Fine and exacting quality. A large Russian Amethyst is surrounded with a 'horseshoe' of pearls: 21 in all. 12 additional pearls are mounted on either side of the central horseshoe. Condition: excellent with no repairs or restoration. From a local Newport Estate. Price: $3,500.00.
# J 4. A Diamond and Sapphire and Gold Ring. 13 mine cut diamonds surround a heart shaped deep blue sapphire set into a raised 10k gold setting. Size of the ring is 4. The heart and diamond setting may have come from an earlier piece of jewelry: the mounting color of the gold is different from the ring itself. Condition: fine estate condition with no losses or repairs. Price: $675.00.
# 4849. A fine Newport Estate Victorian Broach. Late 19th century. A Citrine is set into a gold metal setting. The design reflect Renaissance Revival styles. This broach can be used as a pin or as a pendant. The size is 55 cm x 50 cm with the stone being 30cm x 25cm. Condition: fine estate condition consistent with use and age. The color of the stone is a deep gold color and is quite brilliant. Price: $1,250.00.
J 3. A mid 20th century Navajo bracelet. Composed of 5 cabochon polished King Turquoise from Colorado. The center stone is larger with each pair of stones slightly smaller. Each stone bezel is surrounded with a rope design set into a decorative scribed frame. Signature on the back of the center mounting "JP S" {we are not sure if the signature is "P S" or "JP S"}. Condition: excellent. Price: $500.00.
J2. A mid 20th century Navajo bracelet. Silver and Turquoise. A large single turquoise mounted with a rope banding and incised framing. The three band supports are incised with starburst decoration and join to create a very decorative band. Condition: slight wear consistent with use and age. Price: $500.00.
#4032a. If this was not worn by a Hussar, it was worn by a Hungarian or Austrian Nobleman. Hallmarked for Vienna Austria. Size: almost 10" long. This is part of a belt clasp, so it is just a fine example of the workmanship of the late 19th century. Gilt Silver. This item has a Medieval quality about it. Similar items were made in Budapest Hungary which was part of the Austro Hungarian Empire.Condition: very good. Price: $500.00
# 4365. A fine Gold Cigarette Case. Size: (closed) 68mm x 84mm. Gold content 375 which is 9K. Fully hallmarked. Condition: as noted two small dents on the front ; the area for a monogram has not been used, the elastic inside is stretched and needs to be replaced. This engine turned exterior is attractive, the clasp functions very well and the case opens and closes as it should. Age: though the hall marks do date this item, we don't know the date code but we suspect that this case was made between WWI and WWII. The price for this elegant cigarette case is: $850.00.
