Offering a Gold Coronation Coach. Modeled after an 18th century Royal Portuguese Coronation Coach, it measures 22 feet in length, 8 feet in width and 12 feet in height and weighs approximately four tons. Commissioned by Ernest Henderson, chairman of the Sheraton Corporation, as a marketing tool, the coach was hand built to exacting specifications by the Tinney family of Newport's famed Belcourt Castle. the highly ornate coach is not only a visual wonder, but a fully functioning carriage accommodating six passengers and two coachmen, lead by a team of four or six drought horses.
