ZT 20. Detail of A Zsolnay Tile. Size: 6" square.Brilliant eosin glaze flowers trail across the tile like fireworks against a darker green eosin background. A series of these tiles on a wall must have been spectacular. Unmarked - Factory ink notations on the reverse with chemical formulas / Firing notation " D 4555". From the Rudolf Schmutz Collection of Vienna. ; very minor surface wear. Circa 1895-1914. P.O.R.
