# MFG. A set of 4 sterling silver 'salts' with 2 salt spoons manufactured by Tiffany and Co. C. 1869-79. In the Neo-Grec Style. Size: just shy of 3" across. Condition: gilt interior and one has gilt loss in the center of the bowl. 3 rams heads with hoof feet support the bowl which are surrounded with a greek key design. Monogramed "MFG" for Mary Fleming Gracie (1837-1901) of the Gracie family (Archibald Gracie built Gracie Mansion in NYC) She was born in NYC and died in Florence, Italy. Her father was William Gracie and mother was Cornelia Ann Fleming. William was the son of Archibald Gracie. The silver on the underside is hallmarked: "Tiffany & Co. 470 (M) 4102 Quality 925-1000) Price on Request.
