Inattention to maintenance causes rot that can cost much more in the long run!

This garden gate door with overgrown shrubs and volunteer trees causes dampness and insect problems for this house and for neighbors.

Where has the door and door surround gone! This most important decorative element has been replaced with plywood. The original iron bannister and slate steps is literally falling apart. Water freezing in the winter has broken apart mortar.

A downspout of freezing water has caused mortar to split and loosen the bricks in the front left corner of the home.

An abandoned car, stored junk, plastic sheeting and unused garbage cans are magnets for mosquitoes. The porch has completely deteriorated. Volunteer shrubs and maple trees grow from the brick foundation. All this is so unnecessary in properly maintaining ones property.

\

A leaky gutter has rotted away causing water in continue its incursion into the inner wall.

A temporary (for over a year) of a blue tarp keeps water from leaking inside the attic of the home. Neighbors have spotted a family of raccoons living under the tarp.

Soil has piled next to the wood foundation over the years. One would suspect all the sills of this home have insect damage and will have to be replaced.

More garbage, more tarps, junk and overgrown weeds all help provide vermin and insects a home.
