Rogers High School' On the reverse, the description reads: ' Rogers High School, situated on Broadway, the chief business street of Newport, is a beautiful new structure, completed in 1906; it is built of brick with granite foundations and sandstone trimmings, and cost about $100,000. The first public school organized in Rhode Island was built at Newport in 1640.' Published by Raphael Tuck & Sons. Card #5552; "Newport, R.I." Art publishers to Their Majesties The King & Queen.
