# 7216. A pair of fire gilt bronze wall sconces with the makers mark for Edward C. Caldwell, N.Y. Size: 34" tall. Newport Rhode Island provenance. Circa 1910. The oak leaf and acorn decoration was frequently used by the Vanderbilt family in many of their homes. Condition: each sconce has several breaks in the circular wreath decoration. Old repairs with lead which need to be re-restored with bronze or silver solder. No missing elements. Needs to be rewired. Inquiries please.
