# 5251. A single candelabra pendant ~ Wall Bracket. Attributed to Henry N. Hooper and Co., Boston. Rococo Revival Style, matte and bright gilded brass, circa 1855-65. This wall pendant has five arms to support five candles. Size: 21" tall x 12" deep and 16" tall (these dimensions include the bracket. The pendant suspends from the bracket. The top of the bracket finial supports a dove while the body (wall support) of the bracket showing a bearded face. Condition: fitted for electricity at one time with drill hole in the candle cups and a hole below the face for an electric switch. The quality of the casting is excellent and rivals any workmanship by European firms at this time. These pendants are rare, museum quality lighting devices and seldom come on the market. We have documented pairs selling 20 years ago for in excess of $12,000.00. Price on request.
