Item # 4932. A fine Oriental covered round box. Either Japanese or Chinese. Oriental figures of men with beards are standing around either reading or singing in robes. Size: 4.75" diameter app. 2.75" tall. Condition no edge chips or restorations;There is an inside firing crack as noted in one of the photos. Crazing to the glaze inside consistent with age and type of pottery. There is a clumpage of 'mud' attached to the underside of the bowl uncovered with glaze as noted in one of the photos. Signed by the artist. Price: $500.00.
