# 4856. An oil on cradled board. A Grand Tour Copy of St. Francis Receiving the Stigmata (after Giotto). 19th Century. De-assessioned from the Fogg Museum. Size: (frame) 36" x 48". The art is about 5" smaller in size. Condition: flaking to the painted surface. The gilding is bright and intact. There is incised decoration behind the gilt halo of St. Francis and The Christ on the cross. The color of the flesh of the St. Francis figure is green. Price: $5,000.00.
