
Item # 4226 is a Gorham Aesthetic era sterling silver bowl. Probably a waste bowl to a tea service. High Style: c. 1885. Hand hammered with applied dogwood blossoms. Monogram on the reverse. Weighs 4 Troy oz. and measures 6 1/4" x 4 3/4" x 3" Condition: three small dings under the edge lip and inner surface. Price: $1,250.00.This item is on hold: it is being exhibited at The Newport Art Museum exhibit titled " The Japan Craze" until October 2010.
