# 324. A fine Secession era Zsolnay Cachepot. Size: 4 1/4" tall and 7 7/8" diameter. Form number (att.) 7140. Designed by Sandor Apati Abt. Circa 1903. This marked Zsolnay cachepot is designed with five reindeer in relief surrounding the body, running over bright eosin grass with red eosin balls. The Gres background provides a contrast to the highly metallic decor. Evidence of a standard Zsolnay Factory paper label with the text faded. Very faint incised factory signature "Zsolnay Pecs". The Reindeer have a copper eosin luster with the antlers having a faint green eosin shadowing. Condition: without flaws. Price $$$$$.
