# 272. Zsolnay figure of a Hussar. Originally made for the Hussar Room of the Hungarian Pavilion at the 1900 Paris Exposition. Size: app. 16" tall to the top of the plume. Raised factory mark on the back of the plinth as used at the Paris Exposition. This finely crafted Zsolnay Hussar figure was modeled by either Sandor Apati Abt or Lajos Mack. Condition: The tall plume has been broken off the top of the shako and re-attached. This figure is polychromed glazed. The craftsmanship of this figure is spectacular. The incised form number on the underside is 5800. P.O.R.
