Gothic Antiques from The Drawing Room of Newport

# 2571. A section of mid 19th century Cast Iron Gothic Fence consisting of two Gothic posts and 9 sections of Gothic fence elements. The entirety is 85" long. The posts are 49" tall and the cast iron fence elements are 25" tall. The posts and elements would date from between 1845 and 1865. The are from Charleston, S.C. Condition: rusting consistent with use and age and there are flanges on the posts of which one flange on one post is broken. The posts and fence elements are supported with what appears to be a 2 x 4. The nine Gothic cast iron elements interlock to fit together to form a continuous design. Price: $2,500.00.
