# 1748. A pair of solid bronze candle sticks in the form of mythical creatures: Head of a young boy with wings, lion's feet, tail of a serpent. Each supporting a foliage (grape and leaf) covered cachepot which holds a single candle. Very heavy, almost hand modeled and chased. Old gold gilt patina. Size: Each 7" tall. Age: before 1900. Marked with the sculptor: " A. PANDIANI MILIANO" in all capitol block letters. Condition: No losses or restorations, scuffs to the surface consistent with use and age, candle drippings. From a Back Bay Boston Estate. Price: $2,500.00 the pair.
