# 169. A rare electrical hanging light. Photos indicate that a light similar to this one was used in the Section of the Hungarian Applied Arts Exhibition of the International Exhibition in Milan in 1906. Not marked. Pale green, grey, putty glazes with eosin enhancements. Size: 33" long. Newer electrical wiring. Socket on undetermined (but some) age. Condition: the light cup at the end has been broken and repaired. The balls are in good condition with no restorations. There are photos, documented in literature of this style of light used in the 1906 exhibition. Price: $2,850.00.
The area in the center of the above photo which it not tinted shows a chandelier hanging over the doorway; the light offered here is in the style of one of the decorative pendants used in that exhibition.
The Red arrows indicate restoration or fracture lines.
